Instructions
- Rinse the rice thoroughly until water is clear to remove excess starch
- Melt butter in medium saucepan
- Pour in rice & 2 cups of water
- Season with salt & pepper
- Boil on high heat, then immediately reduce to low heat and cover with a lid
- Simmer for ~18 minutes without lifting the lid until all of the water is absorbed
- Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes to allow the rice to steam
- Fluff with a fork
