Ingredients (for 7 servings)

  • 2.0 tbsp Butter
  • 2.0 piece Onions, Chopped
  • 2.0 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2.0 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 2.0 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 2.0 tbsp Paprika
  • 1.0 tsp Cayenne
  • 2.0 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1.0 tsp Cumin
  • 1.0 tsp Coriander
  • 2.0 tsp Salt
  • 1.0 tsp Black Pepper
  • 14.0 oz Crushed Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1.0 tbsp Chicken Bouillon
  • 1.0 tbsp Sugar
  • 2.0 lb Chicken Breast, Diced
  • 250.0 g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 2.0 cup Basmati Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. Caramelize roughly chopped onions with some butter in a pan
  2. 2. Add in tomato paste, garlic, ginger, and all of the spices
    3. Add water & fire roasted tomatoes to deglaze the pan
    4. Put into blender and blend until smooth to make the sauce
    5. Cube chicken and put into slowcooker, then cover with the sauce
    6. Cook on low 4 hours
    7. After done cooking, add in 2 tbsp butter and the yogurt
    8. Let sit for 10+ minutes to let flavors combine

    Serve over rice
