Description

Make homemade buttermilk biscuits in minutes. They're easy and so delicious

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 425 and put a stick of butter in your pocket (pocket butter)
  2. 2. Warm big tbsp butter in 12" cast iron on the stove
  3. 3. Mix flour, buttermilk (or kefir), melted butter, and some of the water. Mix until fairly smooth, adding a splash of water as needed. Consistency should be moist but NOT runny. If you have to encourage it to get off your spoon, its good.
    4. Use a big spoon to drop blobs of biscuit dough into skillet
  4. 5. Spray top of biscuits with cooking spray
    6. Bake for ~20 minutes
    7. Liberally rub pocket butter on top of the biscuits
